Overview
A creative consultation and peer-research process with young people around their vision for the design and programming of the Crestmead Youth Space.
A Project Crew of 10 young people were trained in creative research techniques and lead the documentation process (filming and interviewing) for the ‘open’ workshops that involved approximately 70 young people.
In the ‘open’ workshops young people expressed themselves verbally, visually, creatively – while also developing their creative skills in:
- Photography
- Stop motion animation
- Drawing
- Stencilling
- Collage
- Film and video
- Vox pop interviews
Outcomes of the project included a written report and the production of a 7 minute DVD.
