Overview

Express It was a creative arts and skills development program for young people (13-17 years).

Express It aimed to promote healthy communities, and safe and legal practices amongst young people on the Gold Coast.

30 young people found new ways of ‘expressing it’ through:
Drawing
Stop motion animation
Film and Video
Visual Art and Design
Collage
Chalk Art
Live art projections
Photography

The final outcome was a series of postcards featuring the participants’ artwork and reflecting themes and ideas explored by Express It participants in discussing what it means to be young in Gold Coast City today.
