Digital Threads
Overview
Digital Threads was a tailored workshop program for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people exploring pathways into the creative industries.
The program consisted of two stages:
- An outreach program held in four locations across Brisbane – Acacia Ridge, Fortitude Valley, Keperra and Wynnum – with a focus on music and song creation using computer based software.
- Participants then attended our training studio and created their own digital stories. These digital stories were then produced on DVD.
Throughout these workshops young people learnt creative skills in music and song creation, photography, storytelling and video editing.
