The Generation M Manifesto
Recently, on 8th July 2009, the Generation M Manifesto was published by Umair Haque. It has spread widely in a short space of time and judging by the comments on his post, it has certainly polarised people.
The people who are most critical of it seem to have missed the point of the manifesto and been caught up in the literal meaning of the term ‘generation’. The manifesto is not about old versus young, it is about a mindset and a desire for systemic change. Read more
‘we are Human’ manifesto published
A document that will underpin the philosophy and practices of soon to be established company, Human Ventures (Human), was published today.
Titled, the ‘we are Human’ manifesto, the document highlights the challenges we face as humans and also offers aspirations and hope for the future.
The manifesto suggests that “the greatest evil is the lack of love and charity, the terrible indifference toward one’s neighbour”, and that the path of peace and hope is in realising we are part of something bigger than ourselves. Read more
