Human Ventures is seeking a Client Development Officer for our lowercase initiative, a social enterprise by and for young people.

A bit about the role of Client Development Officer – lowercase

Reporting directly to the lowercase Co-ordinator and Human Ventures Creative Director, the Client Development Officer will play an integral role in the ongoing development of this initiative. The Client Development Officer is responsible for generating sales and marketing the initiative to a diverse array of clients.  They will identify and engage new clients across the corporate, government and community sectors, and re-engage current and past clients. Working in collaboration with the lowercase Coordinator; Creative Director; and the General Manager, the Client Development Officer will implement and update (as required) the Sales and Marketing Strategy.

Working with the lowercase Coordinator; Creative Director; and the General Manager, the Client Development Officer will also establish, nurture and grow external and internal relationships and communications with clients.

Ultimately, the success of the role will be measured by the profitability and sustainability of the lowercase initiative. The CDO will have the opportunity to make the role their own and flourish within the organisation.  In addition, there is the potential for this role to develop into a full time position if a sufficient volume of work is generated.

Seeking new Regional Program Coordinator – Creative Pathways

Human Ventures is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated person for the role of Regional Program Coordinator for Creative Pathways, an arts and enterprise development program for young people in Central West Queensland.

This position is based in the Central West Queensland region and would suit those interested in Youth, Community, Arts and Culture.

A bit about the role of Regional Program Coordinator – Creative Pathways

Reporting directly to the Creative Pathways Program Manager and Human Ventures Creative Director the Regional Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the Creative Pathways workshop programs, events and projects, communicating with current regional partners and identifying new partnership opportunities, collaborating with the Program Manager to identify and develop funding opportunities, evaluating all areas of the program effectively and actively supporting the sustainability of the program’s future.

Ultimately this position will play a key role in the development and implementation of the transition phase for the Creative Pathways Program into Central West Queensland.

Regional Program Coordinator – Application Kit

New year to bring creative leadership change

The recent announcement that Founder and Creative Director of Human Ventures, Aleem Ali, will finish in his current role, but remain on the Board, has prompted a few key appointments and changes in the company.

The roles of Creative Director and Design Manager will be filled in January 2011 by existing Human Ventures (Human) staff.

Andrew Gibbs, who has been with the company since 2007, is stepping into the role of Creative Director.

“I’m very pleased to be handing the reins to Andrew,” stated Ali.

“He is an exceptional talent, and brings great experience, energy and vision to the role. I am confident that both he and James Boreham, our General Manager, will continue to build on the company’s successes.”

Commenting on his appointment, Gibbs said, “I’m really looking forward to working with the team at Human in my new role to both continue our leading work and also develop new and innovative projects and partnerships.”

“Aleem has done amazing things at Human,” Gibbs continued, “his passion and knowledge have been a real asset to the company and he’s been a fantastic mentor to me.”

Martin Hull, currently a Senior Designer at Human, will be taking on the role of Design Manager

Martin joined the Human team in May this year, bringing more than 13 years of branding and design experience having worked on international brands in studios and at magazine publishers in both London and Brighton (UK).

“The Human design studio has always delivered cutting edge design solutions to our ever growing list of clients and I’m relishing the opportunity to further develop and strengthen our design offering,” stated Hull.

Human Ventures is seeking an up and coming Sales and Marketing Officer for the lowercase initiative, a social enterprise by and for young people.

This position would suit those with experience or a recent graduate with the drive to succeed. Those under the age of 26, and interested in Community, Arts and Culture are encouraged to apply.

A bit about the role of Sales and Marketing Officer – lowercase

Reporting directly to the lowercase Coordinator and Human Ventures Creative Director, the SMO will play an integral role in the development of this initiative. The SMO is responsible for generating sales and marketing the initiative to a diverse array of clients. They will identify and engage new clients across the corporate, government and community sectors, and re-engage current and past clients. Working in collaboration with the lowercase Coordinator; Creative Director; and the General Manager, the SMO will develop and implement the Sales and Marketing Strategy.
