bling bling – jewellery making workshops & free artist talk

Human are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for young people to participate in a full-day Jewellery making workshop. The workshops will include the development of their own unique piece of silver jewellery plus a competition to win a 5-day Jewellery making course, plus production of the winning piece.

The workshop will be held over a full day (6 hours) and will include all materials and tools with each participant able to take home their very own finished piece of jewellery.

The workshops will be delivered for any organisation with young people who are interested in participating. Each workshop has a min/max of 7-10 participants at a cost of approx $100 per head, which includes all materials. We are looking to run as many workshops as possible and are able to confirm dates according to participating organisations.

To promote these workshops, Artisan have offered to hold a free artist talk with a tour of their current exhibition, ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor’ (100 Women 100 Brooches 100 Stories), for interested young people. The first talk will be held on Thursday 27th October at 11am (for a minimum of 15 supervised attendees) although we may be able to organise further talks depending on the level of interest.
