He is passionate about working in a role where he can make a positive difference to society, and Human Ventures provides the opportunity to fulfil this need. This was initially prompted by his sister’s circumstances, and then supported by lengthy consideration and extensive research.
Volunteer work for the Endeavour Foundation and the Mater Foundation provided additional exposure and experience to the non-profit sector. This work also provided great personal satisfaction and cemented James’ resolve to move forward into a role where he could contribute to a specific positive community outcome.
James is married with 2 young sons. He is keenly involved in his sons’ sporting activities and enjoys family camping trips and beach holidays.
