Growing up in a small community taught Cassy you have to get out and search for who you want to be. This philosophy led to volunteer work in radio and youth development, a Journalism degree, and travel through Europe and around Australia.

After a healthy stint in the hospitality industry honing skills in customer service and management, a shift in focus led to further study and a move towards the community and enterprise sector.

A series of right place, right time opportunities and a year working with Human as the Client Support Officer, have landed Cassy again working with young people – where her passion lies. This exciting new role involves assisting on the Creative Pathways program, and Coordinating lowercase – a new youth centered creative enterprise.

Cassy’s spare time is taken up with photography, poetry, and all things Roller Derby, while dreaming of international development work and further travel.
